Full-Time Qur’an teacher (Male & Female) + Part-Time Boys’ Nazirah

Islamic Center of Frisco (ICF) is a non-profit religious and educational organization that caters to a diverse and rapidly growing Muslim community. We strive to provide the highest quality services for all age groups. One of our most sought after services is our Quranic education program for children, taught by professionals who are well qualified with ijazaah.

ICF Quran Academy’s mission is to preserve the Qur'an in the hearts of future generations and to connect, empower, and motivate the future generation of our community to rekindle, strengthen, and maintain a relationship with the Quran using proven teaching techniques and practices. Alhamdulillah, in its 3rd year in operation, there is an increasingly growing demand in our community for the need to expand our Quran programs and add additional female and male Full-Time Hifdh instructors, along with Part-Time Boys’ Nazirah instructor to supplement our existing programs.

Job Description and General Responsibilities of the FT Hifdh and PT Boys’ Nazirah Instructor:

• Teach, mentor, and guide students on Quran recitation.

• Teach Quran during Weekdays;

• Full-Time days/times: Monday to Friday 8am - 2pm.

• Part-Time Boys’ Nazirah days/times: Monday to Thursday 4pm - 7pm.

• Listen to students and ensure proper Tajweed and recitation.

• Perform student evaluations and routine updates of student progress and report to the Director/Principal of Quran Academy

• Strive to be a role model for students.

• Abide by the method of teaching used by ICF Quran Academy.

• Maintain good communication with the Director/Principal of Quran Academy and report to him

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the FT Hifdh and PT Boys’ Nazirah Instructor:

• FT hifdh instructors MUST have a proven track record and experience working as a Hifdh instructor for at least 2 years in the U.S.

• FT hifdh instructors MUST have memorized the Quran (Hafidh or Hafidha) and be able to listen to Hifdh lessons without looking in the Quran.

• All instructors MUST have excellent Tajweed.

• Be able to work with different ages. Assess students’ status and identify their needs. Build a plan for their development and implement the plan.

• Should be a team worker with good communication skills.

• MUST have a strong understanding of Islamic etiquette and appropriate behavior.

• MUST have the utmost patience and a caring personality towards children.

• Candidates with Ijazah will be given preference.

• Fluent in English and be able to communicate with children

• MUST be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A

Job Title: Full Time Hifdh Quran (Male & Female) and Part-Time Boys’ Nazirah Instructor

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
